| All programs of The Bennett Center utilize short-term volunteers to continue and develop the ministries. Traditionally, there are long-term volunteers placed in the Home Repair program, the New Life Center, the Fine Arts Center and the Dormitory. | |

| There are 2 permanent positions in
the Home Repair Program. These positions are meant for persons
willing and able to commit at least one calendar year to working in the
community repairing homes as well as contributing to the administrative
tasks of coordinating work camp during the summer.
There are 3 summer Work Camp Crew Leader positions available each summer. These crew leaders work along with the permanent Home Repair staff to coordinate projects and facilitate the weekly events for the visiting groups. Crew Leaders must have completed at least 2 years of college. |

| There are two
full-time positions and one part time position in the New Life Center.
These volunteers work diligently to create a fun and safe environment for
all teens and children in the County.
NLC volunteers are housed in the campus dormitory, sharing a staff apartment with other volunteers. Each volunteer has a private bedroom, but shares the kitchen, bathroom and living room with other volunteers. |
Primary Task: New Life Center volunteers will work among teens and children from London and Laurel County, developing and coordinating programs and building healthy relationships with the teens and children. |

There are traditionally two fine arts volunteer openings. These are both part-time positions, combined with other PT positions on campus to create a full-time job for a long-term volunteer. Fine Arts volunteers are housed in the campus dormitory, sharing an apartment with other volunteers - private bedrooms and a shared kitchen, bath and living rooms. |
Primary
Task:
The pottery volunteer works in the pottery studio, teaching classes
to campus groups, creating pieces to sell in the craft store, and
assisting the pottery director. The
pottery volunteer can also work with the pottery director to create,
publicize and teach other arts-related classes during the summer.

Primary Task: The Theater Volunteer works in the theater, building sets, assisting the director, creating publicity, and helping with other necessary tasks. The Theater Volunteer may teach workshops on different aspects of the theater to school and community groups. |

The dormitory manager position is a part-time, long-term position, typically combined with another part-time position in either fine arts, the New Life Center, or the Theater. Dorm managers live in the dormitory staff apartment and oversee all guests, maintenance and operations of the building. |
Primary Task: The primary job of the dormitory manager is ensure that the stay in our dormitory for work camp groups and other guests is positive and spiritually uplifting. The task requires attention of the hospitality manager to all aspects of the dormitory and willingness to do whatever is needed. |
