General Info

One of the founding ministry  programs of The Bennett Center, Home Repair works with year-round and summer volunteers to provide necessary home repairs for low-income families in Laurel County. For many families, basic repairs are a luxury they simply cannot afford.  Living on less than $700 a month, this is little left after food, household goods, utilities and medicine.  Repairing a roof, a floor, a porch, or building a ramp can make the difference between an individual continuing to be independent in their home and having to seek alternative arrangements.
